Daytimers

Daytimers is a free, family-friendly show taking place on Saturday 16 September 2023 at the Northern Quarter, Huddersfield.

The production has been thoughtfully crafted with stories and contributions from the vibrant Huddersfield community who attended the secret underground Bhangra music scene during the 80s and 90’s.

This dynamic performance weaves together music, dance and performance to commemorate a nationwide cultural movement – one in which Huddersfield played a pivotal role. During this era, raves would regularly take place in St George’s Square, serving as a testament to the town’s rich cultural heritage.

Audiences of all ages are invited to join us in celebrating this extraordinary era and the spirit of Huddersfield’s music and dance scene, making it a must-see event for all who cherish the memories of those unforgettable times.

Please book your tickets through Eventbrite.
