The Cholavan is a unique travelling workshop space which allows us to travel into communities all across the UK to deliver high quality and accessible arts activities to children and young people in new and dynamic ways.
So far, the Cholavan has travelled far and wide, visiting Sheffield in 2022 where it played an important role in the LISTEN 52 mini-residencies, four creative projects which made up part of our LISTEN 52 youth leadership and arts engagement project in Sheffield. Also in 2022, the Cholavan journeyed to Chellow Heights School in Bradford for the ChellowFest, where it was transformed into a spaceship, becoming a home to explore the stars and discover new planets with the brave young explorers.
2023 has already seen the Cholavan travel to Bradford and Sheffield for the Untold Stories exhibition, where it has been showcasing the fantastic work created by students from Pinc College and King Edwards College exploring the future of broadcasting.
We are proud that the Cholavan can be used for a number of purposes, from workshops, to exhibitions, to performances and so much more. If you would like to get in touch with us to find out more about the Cholavan and how it could work for you and your project, please contact Jess@wearechol.co.uk.
