The year 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of some women, those of property and over the age of 30, in the UK gaining the right to vote. In celebration of this we are currently developing an exciting theatre and heritage project. We are looking at the impact of the First World War on women’s lives, how they changed not only their attitudes but also their aspirations and expectations. It was time for women to have have their seat at the table, join us for this drama workshop to explore just what that meant and how it felt.
To find out more come along to the Attic Theatre, Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield on Tuesday 19th December 1.30 til 3pm for a FREE drama workshop run by Carly Clarke. 16+
Meet us in Queenies Cafe at 1.15pm
