Remember our performance, Flock of Stories, at RSPB Old Moor?
Well, we are now looking for the next community cast to join the latest show On The Coal Face. No experience necessary – if you have a passion for performing and storytelling, we’d love to hear from you!
Our new story-trail at RSPB Old Moor will feature monologues and scenes inspired by the stories collected from the mining community, which will be shared at the site’s 20th anniversary on Sunday 2 April 2023.
We’re so excited to be part of this wonderful event, with other performances from local Brass Bands and Barnsley Youth Theatre. This will be a free event and a fantastic opportunity to hear more stories inspired by the Barnsley Mining Community.
If you’re aged 18+, interested in the project, and would like to find out more or be a part of the community cast, we would love to see you at our open meeting session on Tuesday 7 March 2023 between 2-4pm.
