Days of Joy is a new arts engagement and youth voice project co-created with Children and Young People from across Barnsley. The project has been delivered in 3 stages, beginning with a consultation period before creating art work and finally exhibiting the project in a variety of locations across Barnsley.
In direct response to the consultation a number of creative workshops were delivered to produce artwork. These workshops engaged children and young people in arts and culture activities, developing their skills as artists as well as individuals.
A variety of final pieces were created including Stain-Glass Windows, Shields of Joy, Theatre Masks, Short Performances, New Musical Instruments and Functioning Kites.
