We are recruiting performers for our latest performance ‘A Flock of Stories’
Heritage Performance
Over the past six months we have been researching and discovering stories connected to the former mining communities within the Dearne Valley, in particular the communities that neighbor the RSPB Old Moor Reserve. Through archival research and oral history we have collated a wealth of stories that have inspired the basis for a brand new performance that will be premiered on the nature reserve on Sunday the 26th of September.
Recruiting Cast and Crew
We are currently looking for anyone who wishes to get involved with the performance, whether that is as a performer or a backstage role. Everyone is welcome – no experience needed!
We will be holding two open sessions on Thursday the 26th and Friday the 27th of August at Cortonwood Comeback Centre for anyone who would like to find out more! These friendly, relaxed and playful sessions will be an opportunity to learn about the project and help shape the final performance. Both days will have an open door policy from 11am – 2pm, join us for all or part of the day.
